Our Fusion Guard® cookware coating is made of an innovative blend of Ceramic, Titanium and Silver ions that provide a toxin free, durable and easy way to cook. The non-reactant infused surface will keep your food free of impurities and the efficient heat transfer will make cooking easy. On top of this, the Fusion Guard® cookware’s non-stick properties will mean you can cut down on oil and cut down on cleaning up. While ceramics are great to cook with, it is important to plan how you use your pan!
High heat can cause carbonization. That’s when you find dark, sticky areas on the pan. If that happens, then fill yourpan with water and bring it to a boil. After a couple of minutes, empty the water out and (without burning yourself!)clean the carbonized bits off with a soapy sponge.
While we suggest to be gentle, it is okay to use more abrasive detergents when cleaning theoutside of the pan.
Our cookware has been made to work on almost any cooking surface including induction stovetops
It’s important to be careful with your pan. Try NOT to slide it across any surface or bang it into anything. Don’t be reckless! Don’t overcook things as well. Our cookware holds heat well and it’s easy to get it too hot. Overheating your pan could reduce the life span of the non-stick surface. 30 to 60 seconds on a burner at medium heat is often enough to preheat. For gas burners, make sure that the flame only touches the bottom of the pan as it could discolor the sides. Different pans will take different amounts of time to reach optimum temperature. Make sure you monitor your pan to find the right amount of time.
⚠️ Never leave an empty pan on heat for any period of time.
When you’ve got your pan safely in position and have heated it up just right, make sure you use the right oil. No other seasoning is required. Natural liquid oils with a high smoke point and butter will preserve your pan. Avoid using sprays, aerosols and extra virgin olive oil. Luckily for you, your Fusion Guard® pan will help to keep you healthy because you won’t need as much oil as with other pans. The ceramic surface helps everything glide making sure you don’t use too much oil. It might even be possible to cook certain things with little to no oil in our Fusion Guard® pans.
After everything you’ve done up to here, it would be a great shame to scratch your pan. For that reason,DON’T use cooking utensils with hard edges. Metal utensils will damage your pan. Wooden, silicone andnylon products are recommended.
After you’ve finished cooking with the pan, make sure to allow it to cool off before you handle orclean it. Always leave your pan on a heat bearing surface, rather than on a kitchen countertop orany surface which could become damaged.
You can use your Fusion Guard pan for oven cooking until 400 F. However, some pan lids are not oven safeand should not be used in the oven*. Always use oven mitts to handle your pan after it has been in the oven.
⚠️ DO NOT use the pans in a microwaveNever leave hot cookware unattended if there are children in yourhousehold and always supervise children when they are near it.
* Check user manual with included sets to see if your pot and pan lids are oven safe.
